Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

To have printed, framed, and up in Go's office:

"We restore, rebuild, and make whole those parts which nature hath given but which fortune has taken away. Not so much that it may delight the eye, but that it might buoy up the spirit, and help the mind of the afflicted."

-Gaspare Tagliacozzi, 1570. Father of Modern Plastic Surgery.

  1. THAT is the coolest thing to have in a plastic surgeon's office.

  2. And Sunday Bloody Sunday is my favorite U2 song. It seems like if I knew how to play the drums, that song would keep me aggression-free.

  3. OK. For months, alright, almost years I have blog stalked you via AlisaR. And of all the funnies, witty posts, cute kid pics, THIS quote has forced me out into the open. I hope you don't mind if I post it on my blog today. My son was born with a cleft/lip and palate and it is just too perfect. I think I might have to have it printed/cross stitch it/embroider it for his doc.
